“I’ll often joke that when people ask what business analysis is, I say: You know all those times that people say ‘somebody should look into that?’ I’m the person that looks into that.” Jonathan Haskel, Economist, Author, and Professor at Imperial College Business School.

With a high demand for business analysts in today’s job market, there is a plethora of local and international companies that are currently looking to employ specialised personnel thus ensuring not only a BA’s career stability but also enhancing the attractiveness of the ever-evolving field of Business Analysis. A role that entails working with various departments, a motivated BA is in quite a privileged position too – as the one already working on strategic initiatives aligned to the business, s/he is always on an upward path leading to leadership positions.

As part of the course, participants will be introduced to the terminology used in the business analyst role and will learn how to best handle communication between the internal teams and clients. With a particular focus on business analysis and technical requirements gathering, where participants will learn how to identify gaps in the client’s processes and how these can be automated, participants will also be trained on writing proper technical specifications.
